AS DESIGNER, ART DIRECTOR, ANIMATOR AND SPECIAL EFFECT DIRECTOR :

• Worked for many Advertising Agencies and as Art Director of a Tamil Womens Magazine "Mangaiar Malar" in late 70s and for the popular Tamil Magazine "Kumudam" in 90s.
• Employed as Textile Designer at Weaver's Service Centre.Chennai – 1978-89.
• Worked as a Freelance Illustrator in Leading Weekly/Monthly Tamil Magazines, and played a major role in converting such illustrations from traditional styles to contemporary mode.
• Contributed considerably as an Artist to underground literary magazines run on an experimental basis during the past 25 years.
• Voluntarily offered services as Artist to events conducted with social consciousness.
• Since the 1980s worked as Poster Designer and Animator at different Levels.
• In the 1990s was the Art Director and Special Effects Director for over 10 Tamil, Telugu and South Indian Language films. Devathai , Assuran are among the important films
• Rajakaliyamman, Palayaththamman, Nageshwari, and Naina are the important films in SFX )
• The First Artist to use Computer for painting.
• Participated in Animation camps at Tiruvananthapuram and NID, Ahmedabad in the late 1980s;
• Trained over 50 Leading animators who are busy in the field currently.
• Founder member of "Tamil Nadu Film Movement",one of the two important such movements of the state.
• Conducted the first ever second and third animation camps for children in 1998,99,2000 organised by Don Bosco Communication Centre,Chennai.
• Currently working as Freelance painter and Illustrator;also undertakes assignments in films as Special Effects Director.
